I try to control it, so often it's more the welling up and the lump in my throat.

Funny thing is that DP is even worse than I am since DD was born! Especially for upsetting news articles. DD borrowed a book once called Wombat Goes Walkabout and DP could barely finish it. I had to buy it for DD and it's still a tear jerker for DP every time. I'll have to show you.

Biggest tear jerker for me is home birth videos on You Tube or TV. I just let it all out and bawl. I nearly lost it watching DD go up on stage to get her first award at school assembly the other day.
