Haha love it ALL so true!!
You find yourself watching ABC2 even though kids asleep takes ages to realise you can change channel!!
A restaurant gets a good rep in your head if high chairs and space for prams! And well priced kids meals.

bahahaha i love this thread! there all so true. One of mine would be when you dont bother to shut the door to pee anymore...no point the kids walk in anyway lol
A 'good night out' refers to how much sleep you got the night before
You don't know what's hot in music anymore, but can name every song the Wiggles has ever recorded
You openly discuss poo and wee with anyone that will listen
You look forward to doing your grocery shopping because it means you might get to have a social interaction with the checkout person
The concept of a 'clean house' now means that you can navigate a path from one part to the next without sliding on a toy, food or spilled liquid
You can recite The Very Hungry Caterpillar by heart
You never leave the house without taking approximately 4'987 baby items with you which amazingly all fit into a nappy bag
That's so true! Me and Dp were only saying the other day how funny it is before kids you just grab your keys, wallet, phone .. and thats it. Even if its going to be a long night out! Now you've got bags upon bags LMAOYou never leave the house without taking approximately 4'987 baby items with you which amazingly all fit into a nappy bag
You can't take 2 steps without stepping on a megablock.
Your floor contains the 5 food groups because your toddler won't let you vacuum
You accidentally tell people "Mummy has to wee now"
You forget to close the bathroom door when you have guests over because usually your toddler panics if she can't get to you
You ask the hairdresser for a cut that you can just brush and let air dry because your toddler takes longer to get ready then you
Instead of magazines in the magazine holder you have a selection of dr seuss books and scrap paper for drawing.
You take your handbag out only to find that your toddler has hidden your purse and filled your bag with crackers instead
silence means trouble
you forget to eat coz ur too busy preparing for ur toddler
You wash the same mat over and over again to get rid of the milk vomit stains...
You time your day/activities by the hour naps that your son/daughter has...
You feel like you get nowhere with housework no matter how much time you devote to it...
Ladies, I posted this and then left, have only just come back to it now and have been sitting here doing lots ofand
Crackers in your bag and no purse, love it!!
Hair, been there done that!
4 million things in your nappy bag, check!
Mega bloks on the floor, also check!
And I was hysterical over the five food groups in your carpets because your toddler won't let you vacuum - sooo true in our house too!!
Anyone else??
when you drive half way to work before you realise that you've been listening to The Wiggles the whole time... and DD isn't even in the car! In fact, it's 0620 hrs and DD hasn't even been IN the car this morning!
When you go away BY YOURSELF and STILL wake up at the same time as your child
When you're in hospital (baby at home) recovering from surgery and STILL wake up at DD's normal feeding times!
When the only snacks in your bag are those for your child
When you'd rather buy children's books than the latest best seller
When you're setting up the TV in the waiting room at work and would prefer to watch ABC3 than KerryAnne and argue with your boss that it IS a perfectly acceptable channel!
oooo, I have another one.
When the painful process of getting a brazillian and leg wax almost sends you to sleep because you haven't heard "mum mum mum" or "Bub, where did you put xyz?" for an hour. It' shocking how relaxed i feel after a trip to the beautician for defuzzing
When you're in the line for the check out and yell for your child to come back, only to remember you left him at home with DH...
LOVE IT!
Mine to add, You get instantly excited when your toddler uses the loo by themselves, you do the happy and announce it to the world.
When you have a panic attack when you cant find any batteries for the kids toys!
When you choose a cafe or restaurant, not according to the quality nor type of food, but whether they have crayons and activities to keep the kids busy whilst drinking that cold tea or coffee.
And after DTD you quickly get dressed again and make everything look normal again before getting caught out by the sleep walking toddler.
