Also wanted to recommend no cry sleep solution, I really like how the author refers back to her own experiences using her methods with her own children. Pinky McKays is also good too I would try and read both if possible but if I had to choose it would be NCCS. Save Our Sleep is really strict I didnt like it all didnt feel like natural parenting to me. (but it may work for others just my opinion)

just wanted to thank you gals for reminding me about no cry sleep solution. i traked it down (a friend had it) and i started reading it. i instantly remembered how helpful it was in DD1s case. even though DD2 does tend to cry before she sleeps reading the opening chapter in the book was a good reminder of crying it out from bubs perspective. heartbreaking! anyway.. i have my routine all planned out and my goals etc and i know it will probably be a long road ahead of us ( i just dont seem to get good sleepers) but at least i can be proud of the way we go about doing it. :-)

thanks for the info about crying it out too..but yeah upon thinking about it i dont think it is for us! cheers though.

Good on you for doing up a NCSS routine... I hope you have success soon! We used it with Jazz, started at the end of July, and have been getting AMAZING sleep for about 3 weeks now! Last night she slept 8pm-4am, quick feed, then back to sleep until 6.30am! Be very proud, and consistant.
