Well DD was always BF to sleep but at 11mths she stopped doing that even though she is still BF. She wouldn't fall asleep on the breast anymore (i was devastated LOL!!) so we started lying down next to her and she'd fall asleep that way. She then started to use it to fall back asleep on again which was great but by that stage we were used to lying down with her so have kept that up. Its relaxing for all of us and not long until shes asleep! Sometimes if i'm out of a day time she falls asleep in the car and then we get home and i carry her into the bed/cot from the car and she stays asleep

I honestly think you either have a baby who likes their sleep or a baby who doesnt!! LOL...... it's a matter of going with the flow and they change all the time..... being adaptable and not getting too comfortable with their current routine helps!!
