We're having our darling Tink euthanased tomorrow morning. She has barely eaten for the past week - she licks the gravy off her Whiskas, but even that got vomited up yesterday. Called the vet to see if they could do anything else and he said to keep her calm and comfortable and hydrated as much as possible, and to bring her in first thing tomorrow. I have been crying so much I just hope I'm all dried up tomorrow. I know it's the humane thing to do for her, but after 14 years I'm having trouble imagining life with a cat-shaped hole in it. Thanks for listening.

it's devastating to say goodbye to a furbaby. They give so much love. She won't suffer anymore but it's awful to say goodbye.

So sad for you, but you've been a great furmummy!
