Wwwwwhaaat? Lashes, with all due respect, that's like saying ppl should be allowed to keep lions and poisonous snakes, because they're allowed to have cats and carpet pythons!
There's four breeds of dogs in Australia that are on the restricted list. Seriously, how hard is it to avoid those four breeds? The laws have been in place for several years now so by rights there shouldn't be any more of these pups available to put ppl in the terrible situation that poor Reet is facing.
I am sorry for the loss of your dog, but this is the exact situation Reet may find herself in if she keeps her dog. And I imagine it is harder the longer you've had your pup and the more your kids have gotten attached.
