    Hello Everyone
Wow we have been quiet in here everyone must be extremely busy with their children and families.
Looking forward to the meet up on the 24/03, so are we meeting around 10:30am?

Sami - How is things? How is Zander and his teething?

Sweetpea - How is Reaghan? Is she fully crawling now?

Misty - How are Nathaniel and Angelica? How is the pregnancy going? Have you had the ultrasound to find out what your having yet?

KimBear - We would love to meet you at our next catch up and i hope that you will be able to join us. Hope your son is doing well? I am from Nowra so i use to go shopping in Shellharbour all the time, it's a nice place Shellharbour.

Chepie - How are you? Hope you are able to join us on the 24/03. How is your pregnancy going? How is your darling son? 18 months wow that is a nice age just before tantrums start and they are learning so much and growing so quickly.

At-num - How are you and your baby going? Do you have a son or daughter? Hope you can also join us on the 24/03 as we would love to meet you.

Tricky - How are you and your bub going? I have a son also and he is 3 mths old so around the same age as your bub. I also have a 4 yr old daughter. Hope you can catch up with us for a coffee and chat on the 24/03

AFM - Well not much has been happening here. Brearna has been in fine form and i keep being told that it is just her age (well i am hoping she gets over it soon). Jaylan is trying to roll he gets the legs up and sways but no much more than that. To be honest i am quite happy him not moving to much at the moment. He has moved into his big cot but he was just getting to big for his cradle (my boy is growing to quick).
well best be off as i thought i would start my day early since Jaylan was up at 6am no point going back to bed.

Take Care Everyone and Look Forward to hearing from you all soon.

PS: Are there anymore Facebook Mummies out there in this group??

I am having another little BOY Although with the way Nate is this morning I am wondering if that is actually a good thing We had a scan yesterday.

Does anyone else just feel like it would be nice to have a holiday from this parenting business? I would love some time just to be by myself with out the kids for a while. Of course the sad thing is that I know if I could have a holiday without the kids around I would spend the whole time thinking about them and wishing they were there. It's a catch 22 isn't it.

Still I am thinking of asking mum to babysit overnight one weekend and running away with Tim to Sydney before I have another baby to care for as well.

How does 10.30 sound to everyone? I am looking forward to going out to Brand depot. I don't go out there often, so plan on having a good long look around whilst I am out there.

Congatulations Mist on another little boy. I think it would be a good Idea for you to have the kids looked after and have a night for you and Tim. It is the one thing I miss now we have an ours is our time with no kids lol.

Trac73, not only is she fully crawling but also pulling to stand and cruizing the furiniture. It is scary how fast she is developing.

    1030 sound good to me.

Hope that all the new people to this thread can come and join us on the 24/04

    Hiii

We moved to Canberra about 2 years ago nearly now, from Bowral but originally from Sydney, and we're loving it. We're in the Gungahlin area.

Just confirmed BFP with 3rd baby, Yahoo!!! Interested in hearing experiences about Calvary hospital! Did you go with Midwives Clinic/Birthing Centre or OB?

    Looking forward to chatting!! xxx

welcome, Mrsmac, glad you found it.

I had all mine with the midwife clinic, if you need to see an ob for anything they call the one on call. It was great, with my last little one I had two student midwifes for the delivery and it was a great experience even though I was induced, they let me do what I wanted and dh even did the delivery.

You should try and come to the meet up next week.

MrsMc - i am going through Calvary Public with this pg (my third), I don't really have any feedback at this stage - But can certainly let you know later on. What age are your other kids? Are you planning on coming to meet up at brand depot next tuesday (24/03/09)? It would be nice to meet you. I live out near Belconnen.

My other kidlets are 5 and a half and 4 years old

I would REALLY like to go through a midwife clinic, but this high blood pressure and last preg being high risk because of it, I don't know if I will be alloawed.

I really don't like too much intervention, had lots of it both times and I don't feel it helped. I would like NOT to be on a bed this time

    Hi everyone

MrsMc - I have gone through midwife clinic twice at Calvary and have had wonderful experiences - my last the best - but I also had a doula, fantastic midwives on (lucky for me), a good ob on duty and knew exactly what I wanted etc.

With your medical history - they still might take you on, but have you reviewed more frequently by Ob, or shared care seeing your GP every two weeks or something like that. Ring the clinic and ask to speak to Cathy - she is the head midwife at the clinic and is fabulous.

    I am in Gungahlin too

Hope you can make 24/03 - next Tuesday meet up - we can chat about it more then.

Nothing much happening here - Zander will be 6 months old next week and I am already sad about my last baby growing up lol -pathetic hey.

    Will continue to check in

Mrsmac, I went threw the midwife clinic and with my first to had pre e/ high bp and all they did was I saw the ob who was on each time I had an appointment (so different one just about each time) and the head honchoe called in when necessary and they were great, both my first were induced early due to my pre e. So you def can go there. You will be under your gp till afound 14 weeks from memory.

Chepie - The first time I ever had a night without Jelly, I was eight months pg with Nate and she was about 21mths. This was partly because I feel a little lost without my 'kids' around me all the time (even though they are exhausting) and partly because I find it really hard to ask for help off anyone, even if it is just babysitting for a night. It really is worth doing it occaisionally though - even if I do spend the entire time annoying DH, going on about how much I miss the kids.

I look forward to seeing everyone next tuesday, and meeting those I haven't met yet. Do we need a sign so you know who we are???
