Ah, its been a little hard because Brodie used to sleep the whole night but after he has immunistations he gets really sick and throws everything out, we actually had a good night last night, he went to bed at 8pm slept til half 3 then up at half 6. So hopefully getting into a good sleeping routine again, Im trying to feed him up through the day to help fill him up. Rori has always been an amazing sleeper she'll sleep anywhere from 10 -12 hours. She's just sometimes a little difficult to get to sleep! But you cant win them all and like I said no 2 babies are the same...
Have fun with your lesson today, when I went for my p's i was in the middle of the sa desert on a 48degree day 7months preggas with my son with no air con in the car... lucky for me she was hot and didnt want to do it and just made me drive around the block!! So.. I never paralell park. Id rather walk!! Haha.
Well we are having a very quiet day at home. Im hoping to make it to the post office but not holding my breath.
Take care ladies and have fun at the muesum. It is quite good.
xx
Hi ladies - I dont know whether I really qualify for a Townsville mum as I live in Cloncurry. But I visit Townsville as much as I can - if you have ever been to Cloncurry you will know why!
Anyway - I am originally from Townsville. I lived there for 20 years before moving out here to be with my DH. I had my little baby girl 9 months ago and I had her in Townsville so I am hoping that gives me a little foot in the door anyway.
Have a great day/evening everyone!

Hi Rebecca77. Clonclurry is close enough to Townsville for me, mainly because I have no idea how far away it is. Really not good with directions and distance. Welcome. Caitlyn is adorable, love the hat!
Cooper adored the museum. His favourite thing was coming down the walkway between level 1 and 2 LOL! We went past a group of school kids who were walking up who thought it was hysterical that Cooper was yelling "Wee" as we were walking down. He loved the buttons on the exhibits as well.
Hey,
Glad you had a great time at the muesum, its pretty cool there isnt it?? Very clever with some of the exhibits.
I have to agree, welcome Rebecca but I have no idea where cloncurry is either!!! It's all good the more the merrier! So where is cloncurry hahahaha??
we've had a boring day of nothing, im in for a **** ( sorry i had to put that there) night because my dd rori had a nap at 6pm on the sly and now is up ready to go, so no early night for me and im spewing. i like to be in bed by 9.. i think it will be 10 tonight.
Im of to the gym tomorrow to blow some steam!! Im still trying this get fit thing out.. its working slowly... I can do pushups now hahaha. Apart from that Im having a cruizy weekend with the kids and going to make home made chicken soup, whats everyones plans for the weekend??
take care

The museum sounds great..I wish I had enough energy to go out and spend the whole time running after Zander!!!We just bummed around at home today and I even had a catnap this morning while the boys had a nap....I should of been tidying/washing/cleaning etc but couldnt be bothered.
My Paediatrician has sent a referral off to the Ellen Barron Centre in Brisbane for me to go and stay with Wyatt..for those that havnt heard about it..its an all week stay-in facility fully staffed 24hrs with nurses and a paediatrician to try and help with sleeping/feeding/post natal issues etc you get 3 meals a day and its to try and help with any issue you may have. I stayed there when Wyatt was 7 weeks old but because he was so young it wasnt that successful so now that he is nearly 7mnths old Im hoping to get things sorted eg weaning and sleeping. Im waiting to hear back from them to find out when Im going..queensland health pay for you to fly down.
We are going to take Zander to lollipops this weekend for something to do..not much else is happening....bye for now
Nothing planned for this weekend other than swimming lessons for the little man and some shopping for me. Still have to pack the hospital/labour bag and Ian is starting to get really excited that it is not done yet. Don't know why LOL!
Nicola, I hope you get the details for the Centre in Bne ASAP. At least you had a nap today. There is nothing worse than not having enough sleep. The house doesn't matter in the slightest (as you could see from the state of my place except that it just laziness at the moment!). Is someone going to help Adam (it is Adam, isn't it?) with Zander while you are away or will he go with you? There was a program on ABC about a place in Sydney I think called Karitane or something. Seemed to be really effective. All the kids seemed to be over about 6 months old before they went there. It was really interesting and seemed to make a huge difference.
Good morning everyone and thanks for the welcome!!
For those who don't know - Cloncurry is 800km west of Townsville - so about a days drive. And next Saturday I will bemaking that drive!!
I see you guys were talking about the museum - I can only guess its the one near the Great Barrier Reef Wonderland. I love it there - havent been since before I moved out here in November 2006 but I loved it there. I think I am just a 31 year old kid sometimes though.
Well I am really glad that I am coming to Townsville as one of my dear friends has just had her baby just over a week ago and I cannot wait to meet her!! Seen photos and she is GORGEOUS!!! of course!
Anyway - am actually sitting at work doing this so I had better go and maybe do some work??
Have a great day all - MWAH
