Hi balance, sorry that you are experiencing this. It sucks. I too, had a big one which saw me in ED. I had one initial painless bright red gush plus another one s few days layer. All up, I think I bled for about four or five weeks but my two little girls arrived safe and sound, right when they were supposed to. Good luck, hope it resolves quickly and you can get on with enjoying your pregnancy.
