Looks like willy and beans to me FionaJill. My scan yesterday showed the telltale 'w' for girly bits. Wanna swap? Joking
Ok, here are some shots from my 13 week u/s where I was told we most likely have a little willy. I am ok with this, yep I had hoped for a girl but I know the month we fell I wasn't doing what I could have to sway the gender so never mind. A baby is a baby & I am happy with that.
Ok, read the little thingy with each pic & tell me what you think.
Wish I could figure out how to upload the vide from the DVD so I could upload that as you can see what I mean when watching it.
Here we have a side profile, but no good images of the spine.

hehehe if only it was that simple hey!
Yeah I am sure it is a boy, like I said the guy is a professor in his field so he knows what he looking at.
Hey FJ. Looks like a boy to me. I was told at my 12 wk 2 day scan it was a boy. My Ob reckons if they say a boy, this early, then the chances are it is. I had another scan at 14wks & 3 days & again she said yep, it's a boy. I have the US shots in my gallery if you wanna sneak a peak.
Congratulations.....
Looks the same hey.
I am sure we will get the same result at the 18 week scan that its a boy. Its just that cord has me thinking.
Now to start thinking of boy names.........
mmm im not conviced yet fiona!! i dont think the will;y would be that visible jsut yet, i though you'd be more likely to see the sack over teh willy
Hmmm hard to say but I have a feeling your having a boy (posted that in your poll on another forum)and dont forget they told me at 12-13 weeks I was having a boy and I am!!
Fiona, with our first baby our Ob said that based on "the angle of the dangle" we were having a boy. So out we went and bought blue clothes, chose a boys name etc, only to be told at the 20 week scan that he was a she! I'd wait until your next scan before you start buying boys clothes!
Yeah I am in no rush to go out & start buying blue. Well really I have no need to buy either colour I have both already! Will be really handy if it is a girl though because season wise it will be smack on Isla's birthday so will be in line with her clothes. Where the boys were winter bubs so I will probably need to buy for that.
Names, well thats going to be hard so no way we will have anything picked before the 20 week scan even if we knew for 100% what it was.
Im not desperate for someone to come along & say no Ob was wrong & this why. I am simply questioning it because I can LOL.
Man, I am soooo bad at working these things out... I can't tell, I can't even see where!!! PMSL... Good thing I'm not the one doing the u/s huh!!
we were told at our 12 week ultrasound that we were having a boy. the lady asked if we planned on finding out and we said we did and she said i think i can tell you now and shehad taken a still of my son to show us with his legs wide open flashing it all for the world to see! (he still has that fascination now -must nbe a male thing) With my daughter on the other hand they could'nt tell properly at the 12 or 20 week as she was a lady both times with her legs crossed! hmm! will be interesting to find out in the next one!
x
Its funny that. Isla also had her legs crossed & took a bit of poking to get her to reveal all. This one, at first was legs crossed also so at first I thought hmmmm another girl maybe?? But then let it all be apparently seen.
For now Im still going with Baby. I will go with HE once its been confirmed.
