CM during pregnancy (sorry it TMI)

Firstly i want to apologise if this is too much information for some.

I was just wondering what CM is meant to feel like during pregnancy. I am 12w3days pregnant and the only way i can describe how i feel right now is that i feel like i have wet myself. DP laughs when i tell him that but i didn't know if this was normal or not. As i don't have my first midwife appointment until about a month away i thought i might ask you lovley ladies. Sometimes it feels like you have just gotten your period without knowing you were due (if anyone has had this before). Again sorry if this is too much info but i wanted to know if this is normal and what it is meant to look like just to make sure i don't have an infection or anything. It isn't itchy so i didn't think i did.

Thanks guys i know it is an embarrasing subject for some.

Hi chick... you'll be glad to know that I too had the "felt like I wet myself" CM. I remember once when we were buying my car I was in the dealership when I stood up I could feel it really wet, I almost cried because I knew there must have been some on my dress. After DH checking & me almost breaking my back twisting around to make sure he was telling the truth, there wasn't enough there to notice. I understand it can be very embarrassing....

I decided to wear those "barely there" panty liners. They're not like pads & as the name says its like having nothing there at all, they're GREAT!! I wore those for the remainder of my pregnancy & it makes you feel so much more comfortable knowing that even if you feel a little wet down there its not going to be on your clothes.

So as far as I know from my experiences is that its absolutely normal.

Congrats on your pregnancy by the way

I had that today!! I was walking round the shops thinking OMG is my bladder control going LOL!! But nope when I got home & went to the loo it was just excess CM. So yep I feel your pain. I think it's time for both of us to pull out the good ole panty liners like Danielle suggested

    Hi chickbabe

I have exactly that too! It feels like I have wet myself. I'm only 6 weeks and this sea of CM and sore boobs are my only 2 preg symptoms so far. The pantyliners are a good suggestion I think I will have to pull some out too.

lol i was waiting for someone to ask this too, i was kinda embarrassed, thanks chickababe, i'm at just over 7 weeks and sorry for the tmi but some days its a very bright yellow (maybe from vitamins) and other days its very creamy and almost a bit chunky, not really chunky but thats the only way i can describe it, maybe more fluffy, but like you said no itch or anything though.
the panty liners is a great idea, feel so silly for not having thought of that. i guess when you don't have af you just don't consider things like that, or maybe its just the pg brain

OMg thanks so much guys. I was a bit embarrased to ask this question but i thought o well there has to be atleast one person suffering the same as me. Danielle thanks for the idea i think i might have to go and pick up some panty liners.
Sarah - I know i was just at the shops for lunch and i was wlaking around thinking i swear i didn't just wet myself i didn't feel wee coming out hahahaha but then i went and checked and it was just an increase in CM.
I heard this could happen but i never thought i would litterally feel like i had wet myself. It's kind of embarrassing but at the same time pretty funny.
Danielle - i have found myself checking if there is anythign on my shorts or pants aswell. DP finds it so funny then i get emoitional because i thought soemthign was wrong with me.

I feel so much better now guys thanks heaps.
