Early Pregnancy Symptoms when Nursing

I know one of the first signs i had with DD's pregnancy was engorged sore boobs.... but my question is how do you know early symptoms when Nursing? (BF)

I have had Ferning for about a week ish now with maybe baby
And period pains/cramps for about 3-4 days
And starving when i wake up in the mornings at like 5am! lol

Did a cheapy test from ebay - faint line.. but had 3 x faint lines on these about 3 months ago and negative bt. so dont trust them

Dont know if i should buy a test or save my money cause i am being silly?

I think trying a more reliable test can't hurt. If you think you o'd about a week ago it might still be early for a strong line but if you use FMU you might be surprised.

I think ferning is the pattern your saliva makes when you are about to O. It is something to do with the Maybe Baby thingy.

I have no idea when i o'ed as i havent had AF post birth yet.
But these are definately AF cramping! BUt for this many days

It may be another silly questions (but no having AF for over a year i cant remember) how long does everyone else havd cramping b4 AF arrives?

Charm, Ferning is what happens when there is a rise in estrogen in your body (just prior to ov).. however with hormones all over the place with BF and birth etc etc is isnt always realiable i have been told.

I did go to the doctors and was starting to talk to her about pregnancy, and she was like are you still breastfeeding? YES, have you had AF yet ? NO, well when you get your period etc etc and ttc then come in for a test... and i thought gee i feel like an idiot and didnt ask and went home.

But wanted to get all my symptoms out there for comment

I think I usually have cramping on and off for about 2-3 days but is has been so long since having AF that I can't exactly remember (lol)

PrincessMya, just thought I'd let you know, we conceived Jack before my AF returned after having Charlize. We were trying, and I just knew I was pregnant after the first month trying. I did a few tests and all had a very faint line, went in for a scan, that only showed up a little blury patch, so was only 4 weeks at the most. I don't know why that Doc would be so mean and belittling like that. You know your body better than anyone else (except maybe DH ), I would trust my instincts.

PrincessMya before having DS i would get period pain only a couple of hours before AF arrived, but since having DS it varys sometimes i wil have it for a few days, before AF, and other times it will be for a few days and then stop but will come back a day or so before AF starts.
