I got my first m/w appt coming up on 17th Jan.. I will be 13 wks then. What can I expect at my first m/w appt? I would really like DP to come with me (so I dont feel like I am doing this all on my own!) but he had a bit of a cry last year saying that he cant afford any time off work.

So what can I expect - will it just be going over medical history etc or will we get to hear the heartbeat?!
