I don’t think that a C/S has any direct bearing on milk production. However the first few feeds can be a problem due to pain. Another problem is that if you have an epidural / spinal then getting into a good position for feeding can be difficult. If this problem goes on for some time then milk production can be affected. Also the drugs used can and do pass into breast milk. This can cause your baby to become sleepy.
