Had them here as well. The better the nausea got, the worse the headaches were! The early parts of second trimester were hell for me!

Panadol unfortunately didn't touch them. I'd be relying on panadeine during the day and mersyndol at night if I couldn't get to acupuncture and have leave in needles put in for them. Both panadeine and mersyndol are category A - I figure it's better for bubs to have a relaxed mother than a pained and stressed out mum!

Same for me, when the morning sickness decreased the headaches came, how unfair!! No idea why we get them though.

This si my 1st pregnancy & i've had a few already. Last week i was lucky enught to get a migraine, woohoo, not. I get them anyway which sucks. Thankfully i'm able to take Panadiene for it or i'd be in all sorts of trouble with it.

I don't know what causes them in pregnancy but i've heard they are just part of being pregnant, for whatever reason. No fair i say

I get them with different OCPs too so I think it's the hormone imbalance that your body isn't used to.

I have had them for about 3 constant weeks now....looking forward to a 'hormone balance'....

I was told that the hormones are a relaxant and the back of your neck relaxes. I had my first migraines in pregnancy...NOT good. this time around I have had headaches. Keeping up the water is good too, it could just be dehydration xo

I too had awful headaches for 4 weeks straight - i'd literally wake up with one, and although I don't like taking panadol at the drop of a hat (even when not pregnant) i was seriously going through a pack every few days just to survive.

Thankfully they've gone now, as has most of ms as i'm taking ginger tables (OMG SAVIOUR).

I hope they go away soon hun! as per everyone else: water, try not to stress and get lots of rest.
