This si my 1st pregnancy & i've had a few already. Last week i was lucky enught to get a migraine, woohoo, not. I get them anyway which sucks. Thankfully i'm able to take Panadiene for it or i'd be in all sorts of trouble with it.

I don't know what causes them in pregnancy but i've heard they are just part of being pregnant, for whatever reason. No fair i say

I get them with different OCPs too so I think it's the hormone imbalance that your body isn't used to.

I have had them for about 3 constant weeks now....looking forward to a 'hormone balance'....

I was told that the hormones are a relaxant and the back of your neck relaxes. I had my first migraines in pregnancy...NOT good. this time around I have had headaches. Keeping up the water is good too, it could just be dehydration xo

I too had awful headaches for 4 weeks straight - i'd literally wake up with one, and although I don't like taking panadol at the drop of a hat (even when not pregnant) i was seriously going through a pack every few days just to survive.

Thankfully they've gone now, as has most of ms as i'm taking ginger tables (OMG SAVIOUR).

I hope they go away soon hun! as per everyone else: water, try not to stress and get lots of rest.

    xo

Don't we all just love these headaches since they are a part of the whole pregnancy thing. I've had them for a week straight. It gets so bad some times I just feel like lying down doing nothing. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for DD! LOL, she sits next to me and looks at me wondering what is mommy doing looking so miserable and tired. Does anyone also get these headaches while in later trimester? I'm hoping these will go away soon for good. I will take the panadol when it gets bad. It's true that it's better for DD and the baby to have a non-stressed mom rather than a mom in agony screaming for some relief! I have tried to keep myself as hydrated as possible with 1 large glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and lots of water but if I drink any more, I think I will have to sit in the loo for the whole day with DD sitting in her potty!

I never had them with DD but I had them alot in first and second trimester with DS.

The only thing that helped was making sure I was well hydrated...but even that was a bit hit and miss, I still got them a fair bit

    Hopefully they'll pass!

I've had a few this time round ... though I don't remember having them with Jovi ... seems like a life time ago! LOL I usually find I get them if I'm super tired or really thirsty.
