today is one of those days.... i hate myself, and i have a whopping sore throat so that doesn't help much either does it, so now im even more pathetically limited on what i can eat. I hate my stupid body but love my baby inside me. Contradiction yep but im hormonal and sick and need a vent even if it is half baked cause im exhausted!

That's a great thing with BB, you can vent and get it out of your system. Try and get some rest but see the Dr if your throat isn't any better tomorrow.
DD2 came home last night with a sore throat and had to go to Uni today as it's the first week back. I think a sore throat just makes you feel extra yuk.
Hope you start feeling better soon and get some sleep tonight.

If they are looking for glandular fever also get them to check for the virus form. Many years ago I had all the symptoms of glandular fever but nothing showed up. They thought it was a virus form. All I could do was rest, work a few days and rest again. This went on for a few months.
Also go to the dentist and have a check up as was told that this can also cause throat infections.

As for the testing i have been tested previously for glandular fever and they said i have had it unsure about the viral one maybe thats what i have now? unsure i know i always get it in pregnancy well the last two of them and it lasts for months after.

    Hey Squidipa,

    How are you going now?

Just wanted to let you know that I know how you feel.
I have this aversion with food whilst stressed/anxious too. And I don't even need to be pregnant!
Actually for me it's not really the food, but being really scared of vomiting. I could go for a few days without food if I think it will help me not throw up.

So here are some big hugs to you, and hopefully your stresslevels will drop really soon!
