I don't think the cramps are caused by your age factor. I had my first child when I was 24 and still had these cramps. Now, with my second coming along, I still experience these irritable cramps. What is annoying is that gets me worrying thinking if something is wrong. These cramps sometimes worsen but other time I am perfectly fine. I remember when I mentioned these cramps to my ob, she also gave me a weird look as if something bad was about to happen. When I spoke with others, they said that they have experience these cramps too; that helped because I was so frightened by the thought of a m/c to happen. Finally, DD1 was born perfectly healthy! Hun, I could understand the distress that we may go through especially when you can't see what is going on in your belly. Try and relax yourself and before you know it, you will be holding your baby in your arms!
