Acupuncture was the only thing that helped me. There are anti nausea points in your wrist. Otherwise try travel sickness bands that also activate that point.
This time around is much more worse than with my DD and that was AWFUL! atleast with DD i could keep down juice and soft drinks. For the past two days i have thrown up absolutely everything i have eaten or drank. I just had a mouthful of lime cordial and spent 20 mins throwing that up as well as bile. My stomach is killing me from all the dry heaving.
The throwing up is so violent, my body just tries so hard to get rid of it.
I have some morning sickness relief tablets but i can't keep it down long enough for it to work.
Whats something else i should try or is it best to seek help?

Vegemite saved me. I think it was the saltiness (and the vitamin B helps). I would put some on my finger and put that onmy tounge. I would then progree to vegemite toast (but I always kept vegemite in my handbag for if I was feeling sick).
Hope your MS passes soon![]()
First, talk to your GP or OB. They'll know something they can give you.
I couldn't keep cordial down, it was too sweet even tho we drink the sugar free cordial. I drank heaps of milk, with DD I had bottles of ginger ale in the pantry. I couldn't handle it cold, it had to be room temp.
....Hmmm, sounds like a boy to me!!
You could ask your GP for some Maxalon. It keeps thing under control for me.
First and foremost - if you're not keeping fluids down at all, you're risking dehydration so I'd seek help straight away, particularly in this heat.
Otherwise - sea bands (those travel sickness wrist bands) and vitamin B pills have both helped me ...
but unfortunately, I mostly have just had to ride it out ... there are anti nausea tablets that you can take, but they mostly didn't help me, and the one type that did made me too drowsy to function. but plenty of other ladies here have had a lot of success with them - ask your GP.
I hope you find something that works!
There's another (prescription) anti nausea med called zofran that comes as wafers which dissolve in your mouth so you don't have to keep tablets down. Unfortunately they're very expensive.
If its this bad ATM maybe you should see your doc/go to hospital. Once you get dehydrated it's a vicious cycle. Some fluid through a drip and injectable anti nausea medication would probably make you feel so much better you might be able to start drinking again.
:hugs: hope this stage passes soon for you
DP and a friend of mine have both decided its a boy![]()

Maruschke - I had to have maxalon with my DD so i will be getting a script i just cant handle the nausea and vomitting.
Peanutter - Fortunately for me its not too bad here in canberra and im under the air con. I feel a bit dehydrated so will try sipping some water otherwise i will have to seek some help.
K4t - Thanks. The drip and anti nausea meds sound awesome i will try ride it out but if i continue too much with being this sick i might take myself to the hospital.
