I've heard some people say that if they eat something before they get out of bed in the morning it can help.

If DH won't or can't bring you breaky in bed then maybe you could try some snacks on your side table?

Best of luck! I know when I had mine I thought 'This is the last child!!!!'

Green apples worked a treat with DD1.....

The other thing that helped was Travacalm which is safe to take in pregnancy.

I had some success easing morning sickness with ginger, although by the time it was done, I couldn't stand anything with ginger in it! That taste still takes me back to those days of feeling terrible. Blegh.
This time, B6 has been doing wonders for me. Really made a big difference. I hadn't heard of it before, otherwise I would have tried it with the others.
I've heard some people say eat whatever appeals to you, no matter how weird or wonderful it is. (Provided it's safe for pregnant ladies, that is!) Pickles, salt and vinegar chips, baked potato, sour candies, whatever. If it helps, go for it!
Hope you find something helpful soon - it's such a lousy time!

I cant help with my personal experience as I suffer from HG while pregnant BUT I have had a few friends swear by hot chips. I gave it a go before I found out I had HG but it obviously didnt work for me.

    Could be worth a try?

Otherwise lots of people say eat in small proportions frequently, dry cracker before you get out of bed, ginger, flat lemonade

I really hope it passes for you soon.

Thanks ladies, great thoughts! I had a friend with HG and I really feel for anyone who has to cope with that!

Off to try some vegemite... But what I REALLY want is the Peeking Duck cold rolls we had in Melb a few months ago, cant stop thinking about them. DH and I are going to try and make some for valentines day.

I found peppermint tea worked wonders. And eating first thing when you wake in the morning, I had a handful of dry nutrigrain and that would get me through the worst while I showered and got ready for work. Then had my proper breakfast. And just ate freqently during the day. The salty things got me through too - vegemite on toast, salt and vinegar chips (terribly helpful I know!). The worst thing i did was not have something in my tummy - it only made ms worse for me. Good luck x
