Hi Muude
Welcome to BB and good on you for recognising the signs early - I agree with Taurean, exercise is a great way to help lift when you feel a bit blue - i have lots of family experience with depression.

Also with pilates too!! I have practiced floor-based and equipment-based pilates for a number of years now and have continued all through my pregnancy. I'm currently also training as an instructor. Most definitely look for a class that is pregnancy specific, or a pilates / yoga specific studio that has experienced instructors. Many these days have a background in physiotherapy as well. I would avoid the gym based classes claiming to be pilates or yogalates etc.

At the studio I train with we recommend that women who haven't done pilates before start at the beginning of the 2nd trimester - simply because the 1st can be a fragile time for the body during pregnancy - but at 11 weeks you're not far from that. What state are you in? I can probably send you some links to the associations that represent good studios so you can look into them further?

Send me a PM if you want to know any more.

Lolly
