    Really sore Breast's please Help

    Hey Guys,

I am 7 weeks prengnant and having a lot of trouble with my bb's being really sore. Today i woke up in so much pain. It hurts to even have bra on and i am at work so i kinda have to. i have a non wire bra on and i am still in so much pain. I was nearly crying before and i don't know if it just hormones that is getting me so upset about this but i don't think i can handle them being this sore everyday. Has this happened to anyone? Is it normal for them to be this sore? Is there anything i can do to stop them hurting as much? Please help

I am having the same problem and we are very close in due dates. Try wearing a soft bra to bed - it helps me as I find they are super sore in the morning. I don't know about you but I have big breasts pre-pg and have found it really painful.

    I hope it gets better!

I am like you, my breasts were big before i fell pregnant. They have always got a little bit tender before AF comes but nothing like this. Hopefully it doesnt last too much longer. I hope your get better aswell. I'm just gald that i'm not the only one, i thought something was wrong for a while there.

Mads - Thanks you for your support, i know this is all part of the journey of becoming a mum it's just so frustrating when it hurts so mucha dn you can't do anything about it.

    Hey Chickbabe

your sore breasts will settle down around 12-14ish weeks. The reason your breasts are so sore is the increase in hormone levels associated with pregnancy and increase in blood flow to the breast tissue.

avoid standing with hot water directly on your breasts in the shower, as this increases blood flow to the breast tissue...causing more pain

there are also some great pregnancy mixes made by Blackmores (from your chemist or health food shop) that help with alleviating some Ms and also to help with fatigue...which can worsen the discomforts of pregnancy

    it will get better soon

Have you tried the breast feeding singlets? They do have a bra built in for support but they are extremely comfortable and soft for tender breasts. If they are extremely painful, even try some panadol just to help settle them down. I did these two things with my sore bb's and it helped.

Breastfeeding singlets are a great idea as Nurse Dan mentioned... or even a croptop?!?

Thnaks guys i haven't heard of breastfeeding singlets i will have to go out and buy some. I have tried panadol and it does help a bit by taking the edge off of them thanks. I have a croptop that is pretty comfortable but as my breasts grow it gets tighter and hurts. I will have to go out and buy one of those breastfeeding singlets i will do anything to help with this pain. The only problem i have is finding something i can wear under work clothes that doesn't stand out becasue i don't want my boss knowing for awhile. Thanks for the advice guys

I have Bonds b/f singlets. You can get them at Myer or Big W. Good luck. Hope you find something that helps.
