Hey Op, im stalking. they could do the VE to see if you cervix has opened a little or to check where the bleeding is coming from.

Massice hugs to you OP. I really hope everything is alright.

Could you ask for the VE to be done after the US when you can relax more because I am sure you will see everything is fine.

Thinking of you still, I'd ask for u/s first before the Ve cos they can tell what the cervix is doing on the u/s

More than likely would do a speculm rather than a VE. Or maybe even an internal US.

Good idea, I'll ask for u/s first. She did say that about checking if cervix was closed. Isn't it always a little bit open after you've birthed a bub or two?

OP hang in there I've had bleeding on & off from 11 weeks, at times so heavy I though that's it, it's over but tomorrow I'm 27 weeks .
I do have vasa previa & from 28 weeks I'm going to hospitalised to keep us safe till I have my CS.
    So there is always hope
    Lots of rest & TLC.
    All the best x

oh hun I have been there 3 times! with my first son I bled at 5, 8, and 13 weeks, went to the ER all three times and everything was ok, they did do a VE at the 13 week one to check if the cervix is opening. It was worth it to get some answers. Hang in there. Will be thinking of you.
