As a general rule, if you're not bleeding you're safe (and even if you are bleeding, things could very well be normal anyway). It doesn't matter that the sonographer pushed down on your tummy during the u/s, theres fat and muscle and amniotic fluid, not to mention the bones of the pelvis, protecting the embryo. Hope that helps.

i'll let you know that they keep going. af-type cramping comes and go through at least the first tri - i'm still getting them now - it's stressful to say the least!

it will get easier to trust your body over a period of time - but you'll have days where you doubt everything - well, i have!

keep an eye on the bleeding - it's possible it's old blood from implantation. it's possible your cervix was bruised during the u/s. if it continues call doc for your own reassurance

Amsta re the aqua or walking - were you quite active before you got preg?
Personally I keep exercising all thru preg (although I am v tired atm so finding it hard) - swimming, yoga etc are great as is walking (as long as you dont get pelvic pain later). I would ask your Dr if you are concerned but you should be ok as long as you take it easier, make sure you dont overheat and watch your heart rate.
Some classes (e.g. preg yoga) want you to wait til 14 wks...
But imo if you can remain a little active you are going to feel a lot better. i always felt better last preg if i went for a swim or a walk or did some activity! you need to be fit for labour after all!!
