What should be seen at 5 weeks gestation on U/S?

I had a scan at 4 or 5 weeks and all they could see was the sac. I had it as I was anxious about some spotting that I had. At my 9 week scan we could hear the heart beat. Yay!

Yeh you cant see much at that stage. I had a scan with Jesse at 5 weeks 4 days and there was no heartbeat yet and all you could see was a few white specs in the sac. So just hang in there.

Please don't panic yet.I had a scan at 7 weeks (a dating scan) & it was this tiny little blob that u really had to look hard at to see anything.In a 3d pregnancy calender online it says at 5 weeks they r no bigger than a grain of rice so it's no wonder u can't see it with that sort of scan.
