    Question Anxious Mum2b

Hey girls... well i've not been on for a while. I'm 19 weeks pregnant now and sooooo nervous as I have my first ultra sound tomorrow. Im scared that' it's going to show something wrong... I only found out I was pregnant at 9 weeks and was a smoker at the time... i've cut wayyyy back to like 3 a day instead of the usual pack a day.. i never realised how hard it would be to quit EVEN when pregnant... but im just soooo worried that something is going to be wrong... PLEASE tell me you girls had this same anxiety and reassure me im going to be fine

    hi kirsty,
i'm sure that everything will be fine.
i didnt find out that i was expecting until 20 weeks when i went for a usual dating ultrasound.
all the while i had been drinking and taking medication, and everything looked fine.
my sister in law couldnt quit her smoking while pregnant, but did cut down and she had a perfect little girl.

a little anxiety is normal, but try not to let it ruin what could be the happiest day of your pregnancy. you might even be able to see what you're having!
    take care

    Hello,
I had a friend that smoked through all 3 of her pregnancies, all her kids are perfectly healthy and she smoked a lot more then 3 a day (well done on cutting down in such a short time) I went through the same anxiety before any ultra sound it's completely normal.

    Take care Kelly

Thanks girls... it's just such an anxious time especially with all the people out there who are suppose to be supporting you but do nothing but try and force their beliefs on you and then make you feel guilty cause your not doing what others wanted. So I just thought i'd check and try and get some good advice as I always do in here.....
