    Transvaginal CVS

    Hi, I am 13 weeks now and need to have a transvaginal CVS as my placenta is at the back. Has anyone had one of these? All the comments seem to be about the transabdominal?

    melthatsme - I had mine vaginally, it was very similar to a pap smear, except abit more uncomfortable and it is like they clamp you open. Also they wash your insides thenget their sample then wash again, then remove everything. This is done while they watch the u/s monitor.
