I am not an expert and have no experience in this area... but I saw there were no replies and thought you might be needing some positive news.
A friend of mine was diagnosed with fibroids recently. She got mixed advice on what it would mean for future pregnancies. The doctor who diagnosed them said they should be removed but the scar tissue could cause problems for future pregnancies.
So, completely freaked out, she called her brother, who is a GP. He said there was no problem with fibroids and has he had lots of female patients with fibroids who had normal healthy pregnancies. He said the local doctor sounded like he was just trying to drum up extra business! So her brother told her if she wanted to get pregnant to just go for it.
I hope that helps... or at least helps generate some informed replies.
