BLOODY BOOBS, they won't stop growing!
OMG I just weighed each breast! I can't believe how heavy they are! I am still in shock! 1.5kg EACH!!!!! and I am only 27 wks pregers and i am hearing that they are only going to get bigger!!!!!!! Being my first and even though i've done all the reading and research I still freak when i am actually going through it. I am just worried about how heavy I am going to get. I am thinking I will need a wheelchair when i am close to. I get swollen feet all the time coz i am so heavy already! And constipation I' ve been lucky for the most part but for the last 2 days i have managed to push 2 bloody twisties through! Does the pushing affect my little buba? I look down i fear that I've pushed him out already!
LOL you poor thing!!!! I went from a 12A to a 14C which for me is a huge difference... i've only put on 2 kilos during the past 31 weeks.. and people keep saying aww that's great your not that big.. but what the dont realise is.. it's all baby!!! And I can definately notice how much extra weight im carrying around. Hopefully it gets better for you... just be careful with your ankles though.. my mum ended up with toximeia (sp?) and from what i hear it isnt pleasent

boobs --- with each of my three children mine have just gotten bigger... from a nice pert b cup to a DD now. Not impressed. After the first it was novel - now I would seriously consider having a reduction. They are hot, heavy, and a PITA when buying tops!

antoinette LOL - you sum it up very well!! my boobs simply keep growing - I am working my way into an F cup now (and it's not pretty)... everyone laughs at me and says - "just wait until your milk comes in" - which is truly hilarious. I think all you can do is go with it...

haha I liked it when they got bigger the first time around! But now after BF two kids they seem smaller and much saggier HAHAHA.. I sure hope mine plump up again after BF
Antoinette: I'm sure every pregnant woman sympathises with you right now! I hated having to do wees every 30 minutes and TRYING to do number twos- don't worry your bub won't come out HAHA I know it feels like it though

I know how u feel i havent weighted mine but at 14 weeks i got a new bra as mine were tight and my 14 C is now a 16 F and i am now 17 weeks so not sure how big they will get!!
Has freaked DH out also at how big they will get!!

That is one thing I like about pregnancy... Finally I have some sort of cleavage, not that I'm the type to flaunt it, its just a pleasant change
I hate the after breastfeeding sag though, might have to get a lift once we've finished having babies!!

I should weigh mine... Gone from a 12E to any form of 16HH / 18G / 20F depending on the brand =(
I'm not going to fit into my bras that i have now, that i struggled to find when my milk comes in.

I cant believe mine are still growinglast pregnancy i got to a F cup, im going to have to go order a H cup i think :eek: and yes i have to order them from bras and things cos the store here doesnt stock the bigger cup sizes!!!

I went from 16E to 20GG when breastfeeding... so I can sympathise... They DO eventually stop growing, but i'm now a 16F, so not quite as small as beforehand...
And they change shape too... I can now play hackeysack with mine LOL!

I went up to 18H when I was BFing, and am now apparently 16F, started out at 14E, so I totally know where you are coming from! And goodluck trying to find bras that fit, are comfortable, and look half decent too!
When I last went to Bras and Things, to try and find a normal bra again now that I have stopped BF,, the only bra that fit me, and the underwire didn't poke my arm, was a FULL cup, which covered just about every single millimetre of boob, and looked like it was going to strangle me - good luck trying to cover that up under any kind clothing that looks half decent! On the same day, I went to the Bras and Things just down the road from me - in a little shopping centre, which is where the bra fitted me, and the girl who works there is big herself, so knows what I was whinging about with the underwire digging into my arm - and I also went to the Bras and Things in a much larger shopping centre, and they had absolutely NOTHING for me, and the girl there was teeny tiny (about a size 6-8, with nice little boobs), and although she was apparently a qualified fitting specialist, she had no idea about trying to fit a larger girl. When I said about the underwires digging into my arm, quite painfully, she said that it is something that will just happen because of the size of my boobs, and that it was unavoidable in any kind of bra, blah blah blah. I left that shop feeling pretty crap about myself, but then thought that maybe it was just because she would mostly deal with people who are smaller than me, and being small herself, had no idea what I was talking about. Where as the girl in the first shop was larger too, and totally knew what I was talking about, and told me that they were between seasons of stock then, and to come back when they had the new stock in, and then there would be a bigger range for my to try - I loved that someone actually understood what I was complaining about, and didn't tell me that it was something that I would just have to live with - why should I have to live with a painful bra, just because I am bigger? If anything, i think I should be more comfortable than the smaller girls - I have more weight that needs to be carried around up there!
Sorry to hi-jack your thread, but it really gave me the irrits!
Ashnant - do they have a Big Girls Don't Cry shop where you live? They stock maternity bras, and are specifically aimed at larger girls - I would go to the one here, but it is too far away, and has ridiculous parking, so I am keeping it as a last resort!

Al i -haven't heard of them before, but sounds like worth a looksee if there is one.
The only comfortable maternity bra i found so far was by lovable (OMG the triumph ones are lacy full gross and uncomfortable), but they only go up to E and whilst they fit, six weeks ago, ive grown again and well, milks got to come in at some point =(
Apparently hot milk's not too bad, but they are expensive....

how easy is it to find bras that fit you? i have trouble finding a damn 14C! in amongst all the A's & B's! i've never paid much attention to anything bugger than a C on the racks

Anthony banned me from going anywhere near bras and things because i end up depressed and miserable (this is back when i was only an E even). And then one of the last times i went shopping i spent three hours in myer, determined to find something... I swear there is no size consistency in bras either, it's quite frustrating.

I have to totally agree with you ashlea - and then they go, "oh, a 16F in one brand could also be a 16G in another, or a 18E, or a 14H..."
Even when i was a 14E, i still had one bra that was a 14G - it is just soooooooooooo ridiculous! Why can't eveything just be the same? But then it is also the same with clothes - my butt can fit into anything from a 16, to a 24, all depending on the stupid brand.
And WHY do they have to be so bloody expensive? I went to Myer the other day, just to see what they had, and ALL of the bras in my size were either really fugly, or were $90!!!!! So rude to us larger girls!
And it is not as it we can buy bras in the mail (well, we could but who would want to?). With the massive size differences between brands, why would you buy something that you haven't tried on, and I like to get all of mine fitted by the specialists, so that I know that it is sitting in the right position anyway!

with my first i went from a 14 b/c to an 18dd (gained at least 26 kgs) it was horrible this time round i'm almost 26 weeks and have put on 12 kg so far and gone from a 16c to an 18d already and no milk yet... (hard to find 16dd, so 18d are comfyier round the back ATM....)
Horrible trying to find bras that are comfy but nice...

i do feel sorry for you ladies.
For the first time in my 3 pregnancies Ive had to go up a bra size from a 14 to a 16 but Im still in a c cup, all my friends say oh wait till your boobs grow, but they just dont. I do however get massive nipples (TMI).
Feel like i miss out on the boob department, but by the sounds of it i should be very grateful
Hope you find some nice comfy bras soon.
ive always been confused about the numbers and letters with bra's - maybe i should get one properly fitted, just to make sure im in the right one!
my SIL is about the same size as me (in body shape - she has always been a C cup though, i am now a C) but she buys a 12C?? i get 14C?
