Gaviscon. It simultaneously neutralizes the acid & forms a gluggy layer to stop the tummy juices rising up the oesophagus. Theres a double strenth one too. It may take a few data of use for the irritation & soreness to die down so hang in there. If you're still suffering after that, chat to your dr as there are other medications available that are more effective.

Other measures include sleeping propped up (if you can borrow a recliner chair they are brilliant).
