Crumpet, you know hun it is completely normal to have times when you want it all over, and to not go on anymore, I know I had many many bad days throughout my pregnancy, and on those days I leaned on others, more so a close friend on Messenger, she would listen to me vent, but support me, tell me it is ok, and to keep me focussed on the bigger picture. We have always said that we know the bad days are coming, and they do, but the thing is we also know that there are good days as well, and to try and make the most of them while we can. I am now continuing to repay the favour to a dear friend who is also travelling a difficult pregnancy. PM me if you want to add me to Messenger xx

The steroids go in the top of you bum/base of you back... right in the rump just remember to wiggle your toes as they doing it and keep wiggling, I found it worked extremely well.
thanks hun.....
i do feel bad complaining, especially knowing what you went through in ur preg, im not dealing with anywhere near as much as u did...
my DH finished work early and came home to spend a few hrs together before he went out tonight so that brightened my day immensly!
and ur right there is a lot more good days than these bad ones, i just find the bad ones hit me like a sack of...well u know what!
ill send u a pm now, its handy to have someone who has dealt with bed rest to talk to, not everyone inderstands how draining it actually is....

oh nice!! lucky i have plenty of rump!! why the wriggle of the toes?? is it like a distraction??

hi
crumpet - my friends little boy is just on nasal oxygen. He started off fully ventilated but was only like that for a few hours. He si still needing the oxygen due to his size, he was 6lb 4oz born at 33 +2, appently the bigger the are for the gestation, the harder they have it, as they are trying to support the extra weight on immature lungs. He is also under the lights, as he has a little jaundice as well. NICU are usually happy to answer questions if you coontact thema dn even gave me info books on what to expect.
wow that makes sense, the breathing and extra oxygen thing....
i always thought it was opposite, they were better off being a bit more plump.

one of my jan belly buddies just had her bub at 31w3d i think and he was 2.3kg and is breathing on his own!! its amazing what these little people can do!
