Have updated my sig, I am 33weeks on Wed, but still getting there!

Crumpet maybe it was just everything stretching again, I have had it happen a few times with all the preg.

aFM I am very tired 'and achy but I reached my mini goal of taking DD1 to Disney on Ice, lots of fun too she was a well behaved little girl.
    happy 33 weeks hun!!!

ive hit 14weeks today, am lagging behind u girls!!

yep i think ur right, i think it was everything moving and shaking in there, and as for the "gunk" im assuming the moving and shaking might have stirred up the placenta.....
but the bood news is no more excitment here!!!

thats fantastic hun!! did DD love it?? i cant wait till wormette is old enough for that sort of thing!! probably should get her here safely first!!! lol.....

hope everyone else is travelling along ok with no excitment!

I hope everyone is tracking along nicely!!!

Congrats om 33 weeks black_rose you are doing a fabulous job !!!

Congrats on 14 weeks Crumpet and so glad that you are haivng a nice boring week ~ I LOVE hearing about boring weeks in this thred You will get your little wormette here safely

csab ~ how did the dieticians appointment go with Miss V? I hope you haven't had to increase the V at all DD's birthday was really good and it still going, she has had more presents to open each night, so spoilt! I hope you headaches have eased or gone completely, they can be horrible I had one that went for 8 days and it drove me nuts!!!

AFM ~ BH's the last two nights and I have had tightenings again this morning, I am not happy with my body doing all this practising it really isn't required But I am glad I have the Nifedipine, it isn't stopping the BH's but making them not as bad IYKWIM, I have two tablets left I thought I would have enough to get to my OB appointment next week, but as I am expecting they will come back later today based on the tightenings this morning I will be running very low, so will have to call my OB tomorrow if that's the case and get some more. Have to go for another BT today or tomorrow, another round of platelets for my next OB appointment. I keep telling Flicker to chill out and relax we have plenty of time to get to know you when you arrive in a few more weeks times no need to get excited and want to see us sooner!

glad u have the nifedipine, i hope it helps a bit...... it held my labour off for a week so that was pretty good, the infection is what let us down in the end!

hopefully flicker can chill out in there for another 10 weeks min!

have u got a aim as such? i know my aim is 28 weeks.... thats my personal aim, my OBs aim is 37weeks lol.... he has high expectations!!

Now I am 24 weeks I am aiming to get to 28 weeks, and then 30 weeks. 28 weeks has some really good leaps in terms of development so there are some big pluses getting past that point. Even though there is no guarentee with any prems... I think my OB's aim was to get us past 24 weeks and as close or into the 30's, she said from very early on I won't make it to term, as did another High Risk OB, so the aim hasn't been as far at 37 weeks, would be fab to prove everyone wrong, but I feel that body isn't going to let that happen, atm the moment I feel that 28 weeks seems so far away... I think once we get on top of the BH's and the dosages right hopefully things will settle.

Each tablet is 20mg, it is a slow release form so takes 1-2 hours to work, but lasts longer, but my OB said we may have to switch it to a quicker acting dose and up the dosage if it isn't keeping them at bay, which is my feeling, I didn't expect them to ramp up so much this week though, so was more than happy with the initial dosage, but it isn't taking the edge off enough I think.

    oh ok....

i think they had me on 2 x 20mg in hospital but i cant remember how often it was now.... maybe 4 hrly and if i was going ok then they would stretch it out....

its good it can be adjusted accordingly.....

hope u have been able to rest a bit....

High Risk Pregnancy ~ General Discussion and Support

Beema I was on 60mg every four hours last time, but it made me so tired I would sleep on the couch while dd1 played in the loungeroom.

Glad N has had a great birthday week it's fun watching their reaction although they usually love all the paper just as much!

    Bring on 28 weeks!!!

Congrats on 14 weeks crumpet! (and no gunk either too). Dd1 loved Disney she has a helium balloon she is taking all over the house.

AFM my check up went well, it's just the bh that are the issue. For now we are just monitoring them as they aren't regular enough to be on the nefidipine at this stage. They stopped for two days but have started again today.

ladies. Good to hear you're all holding on nicely. Beema and Black_rose, hope the BH settle down for you both!
Crumpet congrats on 14 weeks hun!

I had my hospital appointment today. All is looking good with bubs. They're not 100% but they think he has turned cephalic, yay. Also my BP is awesome 115/65, Yay. The downside of todays appointment is that they have decided to start me on 4 units of insulin at night.
Black_rose I am still keen on VBAC but I want bubs to come a little early. I'm not feeling comfortable with going overdue for VBAC. Especially with having GD and all. I might start some natural induction techniques from about 36 weeks, Lol.
Here I am wanting to try to bring things on a little early when you girls are struggling to hold on as long as possible. I really hope that doesn't come across as insensitive to you guys.

Don't be silly mammspice! Having GD is a good reason for wanting to come early, fingers crosses your baby decides to arrive around the 37 week mark, I was happy to have another c sect last time if it was best for dd but she had other plans for me . Will they do a scan to check bubs size closer to 36 weeks?

    Hi all

Crumpet - Yay!! 14 weeks, glad all going smoothly atm.

Beema - Yay!!! 24 weeks, that's a big milestone. Seems like so far away to me at the mo. Hope the BH settle, scary isn't it. 28 weeks will soon be here. I have the milestones as well, my overall aim is to deliver by 34 weeks, but I will be hossy on bed rest for a few weeks.

Black Rose - hope the BH don't get any stronger.

Mamaspice - glad all is going well, hope the natural induction works and bub decides to make a slightly early appearance, not long to go now.

afm - not a lot going on, spotted slightly a couple of days ago and freaked, but seems to have settled now. My next goal is 12 weeks. Busting out of my pants at the mo, will have to invest in maternity clothes it's embarrassing.

    take care all

Aww thanks Black_rose, yes bub coming around the 37 week mark would be perfect! They're actually getting me to have a scan next friday at 33 weeks. Not sure if they'll want to do another one after that or not.

Butterflyforever, I'm glad your spotting has stopped. It's not nice is it.

Thanks for that black_rose It seems that the dosages I am on isn't enough as I have had them again tonight, and I feel so tired as well. yeah it was great DD was so into her presents it was awesome!! I have to pack a heap of her toys away tomorrow if I can in the afternoon, she has way too many things out and I need to put the baby stuff away. Glad to hear that they are monitoring your BH's, you are doing a great job hun!

    about potentially being overdosed Crumpet!!!

Great news MamaSpice about bubs position and the BP -woo hoo that is fab!! for the insulin, hopefully you can get to 37 weeks on the dot!!!

I am so glad your spotting has stopped ButterflyForever, it is horrible and scary, I've had bleeding in both pregnancies, this time it was a lot worse

AFM ~ other than BH's I am only up as I have been waiting for my laptop to stop backing up to my new external hard drive, my old one was 5 years old and was due to be replaced, it has just finished so I am off to bed and hopefully get a break soon!
Take care belly rubs and FT vibes for all! xxoo

dont be silly, if i had GD id be willing bub out a bit earlier too, we all have reasons for either needing to hold on or to go earlier!!

Csab hope you feel better soon. xx

Crumpet thinking of you hope the stitch goes well.

I had a blah day yesterday, had about 4 people tell me I look ready to pop and that I will go early. Like I need to here that! Yes I feel like I am over it this week but I need bubs to hang in there!! Not sure that will happen though, it feels like the head is starting to engage and the bh are happening during the day not painful but just enough to make it feel like my body is preparing for labour, might have to go back to the ob earlier.
