Unhappy How long did it take you to fall pregnant??

    Hi there All

I've just started this TTC journey and I'm just wondering how long it took you to fall pregnant??

I was extremely fortunate with DS to fall first go - this time round I'm moving onto cycle 3 - so feeling a tad disappointed about it all I know it's early days but none the less feeling a little ripped off

    TIA

FOr DD1 it took 4 months and for DD2 3 months so fairly quick both times. Its hard to be patient but it will happen when you least expect it and just remember everyone is diff.

It took us 10 months to conceive DD but in that time I only had four cycles (PCOS). Fingers crossed we will do it in less time when we start trying for #2.

Thanks Ladies - you've given me hope - i think sometimes when you get something pretty easy it's hard to accept that it's not just going to happen so easily the 2nd time around - still praying for my BFP this month - I don't think I'm completely out - and if it's negative I'll just keep on going

14 months with DD1, 19 months with DD2, and 14 months with DD3. DH and I are both young and healthy, and I have a long cycle, but do ovulate every time.
However, the positive side of this for us, is that we haven't ever worried about birth control, either! Hope you get your BFP this month.

Yeah Cricket that's what DH and I are going to do..... once we finally have first baby, we are not going to go onto contraception and just 'see what happens' for number 2! knowing that it could take a few months again!!! Or maybe it won't? If it happens straight away we'll be stoked!!!

I think cos' it's taken us quite a few months now to fall pregnant for first bub, at least we won't be expecting it to happen immediately for our 2nd.... we'll be more realistic about it.

(we're young, healthy, ovulate every cycle, BD often, and no reasons why we aren't conceiving... just not our lucky month yet)

2.5 years for me. Not planned but weren't preventing either as since I was diagnosed with endo and both tubes blocked and would need IVF to get pregnant, I figured DP & I didn't need contraception. So a miracle and nice surprise Hopefully it has cleared the way for number 2.
