Excellent, well that makes me a bit gamer. Good to know there's something I can do to try and not get Strep B this time around - I'll give it a go later leading up to the test.

soooo trying this tonight!!! got the worst infection of my life and dnt really want to use chemist products to rid it.
Will let u know how it goes
I have to post my report on this omg. I had a nasty dose of it recently, waaay too much stress and stuff going on... had some mild cases of it in the previous months too, was really hanging around. Anyway, after getting impatient with pro-biotics (which I will do as maintenance and not forget now!) I had tried diflucan a couple of times, canesten... didn't seem to shift it much at all. So I thought stuff it, I have to do this garlic thing. I wasn't sure if it would work as it wasn't at that first tingle stage, but you get desperate with these things!!!
I was really nervous about getting it out, but I decided to not worry about string/wool etc... I was too tired before bed lol so thought to myself I hope I dont regret this in the morning. I peeled the clove, sliced nicks in it, and also peeled a few bits off too, to expose the inside of it. It was incredible, immediately when it was in, I got the garlic taste in my mouth like it describes, so weird!!! Went to sleep, woke up feeling much better... got it out easily enough, and yes was anxious for a moment, but was able to get it out pretty easily. I dug my nail into it and moved it down. I noticed a huge difference that day!
A couple of days later I still felt like I had a little bit of a tingle, so decided to do it once more to make sure its gone. This time when nicking the clove it broke in half, so I was nervous about having smaller parts of garlic but again, I remembered how well it had worked and did it anyway.
Again, a great response.
Next time I am not going to even bother with anything else, garlic cloves rock!!!! So very happy with myself![]()

Just wanted to say that I have been doing this for years, it's fantastic! My body is allergic to the creams etc so they just exacerbate the infection (was soooo painful finding THAT one out) and garlic is the only thing that works. I usually insert a clove, and for really bad cases on the outside, I make a vinegar/garlic solution to bathe the area...works a treat and I highly recommend both; although the instant garlicy taste is sooo weird, isn't it

Interesting... I might have to try this. I wonder what else it works on. Might have to suggest to DH to rub some garlic on his rashes and see what he thinks after doing it.
Great results Kelly!
I was just talking yesterday to a GF who has been using garlic for years for candida with great results when was telling her am going to try for my Strep B swap this time - and she told me when she was in Holland a couple of years ago she got the clove of garlic stuck in that 'pocket' and she eventually had to get it out with a FORK!!!! Eeeep - I will def be using the string I think![]()
