I know it's hard, but try not to worry. Try and get some rest tonight and see your doctor in the morning. it's nothing serious

Hey ladies. Just letting you know that i had sent my mum a message on facebook last night telling her, i would have called her but it was late and she would have been asleep (turned out i was right) she rang me about 20 mins ago, woke me up lol but she is taking me to the doctors now, she is really worried but also said that she had bleeding with my brother and turned out to be only a cyst that had burst... so am hoping for something along those lines, i had a bit of cramping last night but nothing too serious, belly is a bit sore this morning but that could be normal too. I will keep you all updated when i get back from the doctors, hopefully get my ultrasound today so it makes me feel better hearing my bubs heartbeat.

Thanks again for all your support and your kind words

Its actually quiet common to have a bleed aroudn the time you would normally have AF for the first 3 months as your body adjusts to being pg.
its scarey shiat isnt it. Hope that the u/s will help settle the nerves by seeing that specially little person waving at ya

and best of luck with at the doc's today.

Bleeding is very scary stuff!! I've had 3 bleeds/spotting so far this pregnancy between 4 & 10 weeks (one ended up as ER visit), now they have settled down.

Hope it is going well at the doctors. Bleeding is so stressful. I had 3 bleeds during my first pregnancy and i went on to deliver a healthy baby boy. I have already had 2 bleeds in this pregnancy too and an U/S revealed all was well. Take a few deep breaths and relax and hopefully it will be nothing to worry about.

Thank you ladies. I just got back from the doctors. He is calling it a threatened miscarriage, but he doesnt think it is too serious, he has given me the next 3 days off work to rest up. He said if there is anymore bleeding then i am to come straight back in but my mum said we will go to the hospital. I didn't get a ultrasound today but i got a referal for my 12 week ultrasound so i will have to wait 12 days to see my bub again but am staying positive and will rest up heaps.

I am a bit annoyed with my DP, i told him whats going on and all he cares about is getting sleep i wont say anything dont want to cause a fight its the last thing i need.

Thank you for all your support.

Rest up.. I hope it all works out for you.

I had a threatened miscarriage at 7 weeks, about this time last year, and I now have a cute little boy squirming and giggling on the floor..

I also had a bleed with DD at about 9 weeks.

No he didnt think it was necessary. He felt my tummy and i wasnt sore so he said it was fine. Hes putting the cramping down to growing/stretching pains, he must think i am a big sook because i told him about going to the ED when i was 6 weeks but i said its my first and im not sure whats normal and what isnt and he said it was fine.
