Judy - I'm glad you survived the CVS. Sounded pretty nasty. Now that I think about it I remember one of my OB's saying the reason they didn't recommend CVS was the likelihood of having to do an amnio anyway if they had difficulties getting enough fluid to test. Rest assured that if you do have to have an amnio it's nowhere near as bad as what you have described. That said, I hope they got what they need and you don't have to go through it. I hope you get the first lot of results nice and early as I know how hard it is sitting around waiting for them.
