Aussiegirl777, you have also been in my thoughts. I have been hoping for the best outcome for you and checking every day for an update.

Thanks for your thoughts. Obviously by my absence you have worked out that things did not go well.

I was the 1 in the 1 in 4 people likely to have a bad outcome. My baby had Down Syndrome. As well as that my PAPP-A did not look good so we were advised that there was also some risk of placental breakdown and pre-term delivery. That made our minds up that we were not going to progress further with our journey. I have just come home from hospital where I have been since Wednesday. I can say that this has been the worst week of my life on so many levels. I cannot begin to tell you the emotions that I have experienced. The only good thing that I can see is that the midwives at Bowral Hospital are the best around. Both myself and DP were treated with so much respect and love that my fear of what was going to happen and also my fear that I have never been to hospital before made my time there a little more acceptable.

I wish I had better news.

Aussiegirl, I am so very sorry hun . I prayed the outcome would be different. Sending you a very big hug, and thinking of you and your DP in this difficult time.

    Take care sweetheart,

I too was praying for a different outcome. I am glad that in this difficult time you had a lovely and supportive hospital team behind you.

You and your DP will be in my thoughts.
