Megan thought I would add my 2 cents worth. We have 2 dogs who are litter mates and I have always been so glad that we got both of them together. We have found that whilst they love human company if they are on their own they entertain each other. It is really cute to watch them play tiggy, hide and seek etc. (they are 4 year old border collies) When I compare them to the same breed raised on their own they were a lot less trouble as pups as they had each other when they got bored and were not so destructive etc.
On a different note. We set up our cot the other night and had just finished when one of our cats wandered in jumped straight up into in and currled up to go to sleep. I know I should have roused on him but it was so funny - and well timmed I couldn't help but laugh. The upside is neither cat has done it since.
