I agree with a previous poster about having two dogs. I had one dog growing up as a child and now have two. They are each other's best mates and certainly relieve the pressure on husband and myself to entertain them - they entertain each other.

Especially with a new bubba in the house, you may naturally not have as much time for the animals. At least they will have each other.
