Um, sorry to be asking this Pooky, but is this a new issue since your partner became pregnant or has she a history of depression? The reason I am asking is it really sounds like she is not coping very well at the moment and may need to speak to someone about it. It sounds to be a bit more than just normal preggo hormones.

You need to support her through this time but also remember to be kind to yourself as well. I would really encourage you to speak to someone, possibly through your ante natal clinic / obstetrician

As for the morning sickness, I had shocking m/s with my first and other than eating gingernut biscuits all day, I found preggy pops worked well. You can do a search on the internet for them
