I am so sorry this has happened to you. There a couple of things to consider. Firstly, there are NOT only two places in Brissy that can do these, obviously they meant only two QDI places. So if you can't get into the Royal on time, you can try other places. Secondly, the full medicare rebate is only available for a limited time. You can have the scan up to 14 weeks or something, but the full rebate is only available if you have it during the so called most accurate window, which is something like 11 wks 6 days to 12 wks 6 days - the exact dates are listed in another thread somewhere. So if cost is an issue you should check on this (the Royal should be able to tell you, the place where I had my scan gave me this info).

I would also be wanting another dr after this. I wish you lots of luck and hope it all works out.
