Maybe its different over here in WA. Cos for one of my pregnancies i just went to my local x-ray and ultrasound place and they did the scan no worries. The only thing i remember them mentioning is that they had to have the right technician on to do it as she was the only one trained to know what she was doing. All my others i have had at the hospital i am having my baby at and the scan is routine there.
