That breastfeeding is bloody hard but so rewarding if you can see through the rough patch of the first few months. That the majority of babies don't sleep through the night, and sometimes barely sleep at all during the night, and that's completely normal, but it will not go on forever. That your breasts go from rock hard full of milk to deflated and it doesn't mean you don't have enough milk. That babies aren't trying to manipulate you when they cry, they cry because they need you. That if you go with the flow of your baby's cues and needs and don't try to make them fit into a routine you think you need to set, you'll both be happier and more content. And that you should follow your instincts and love and cuddle and kiss and be as responsive to your baby as you desire because you can't spoil you baby, you're in fact developing a bond that will see your baby grow into a secure, settled, trusting child.
