After having had early m/c's we chose to wait and told everyone when i was at the half way mark of the pregnancy ... also it was just before Xmas which gave everyone an early Xmas Gift ... I told my folks on Xmas Day by handing them an ultrasound pic of the bub & saying " Merry Xmas " to make it an extra special Xmas for them, my Mum was so beside herself with happiness & shock that she didn't know whether to laugh or cry ... as for Dad he couldn't stop grinning all day and already came up with a nickname that day for his grandchild

Told my close workmate from when I got my BFP (I was pretty crook with m/s and needed her to help cover for me at work). Told everyone else including our families at 14weeks.

    Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS!!

Our First Time, we told EVERYONE straight away! We were just soooo excited!! Then I miscarried Our second, we didn't tell anyone as when we only found out I was already miscarrying... So after 2 miscarriages I was a but sceptical about this bub! We told only immediate Family and very close friends pretty much straight away as we thought we wouldn't be able to hide it from them anyway, we have waaay too much to do with them all the time and if anything did happen, we might've appreciated them being aware and having their understanding and support - We had our 6 week scan, all good, a 9 week scan came back all good too but still being a bit wary we waited until after our 13 week NT scan came back with gleaming results and then we told the world!

So exciting! Wishing you all the best!

    Wow, thanks everyone!
Alicia, we also have alot to do with both of our families, and I am finding it increasingly difficult keeping it secret, it's driving me nuts!
Have heard back from my GP and my hcg levels are going great, thank goodness.
Now, to find a special way to tell everyone we're pregnant!! Any ideas there??
