I told selected people at work cos I was so excited and I trusted them.
We told our parents at 6 1/2 weeks. When they told us they wanted to share the news.. So we rang all our family while we were all together and told everyone... Kind of made the pregnancy feel longer.
I did tell my dh cousin's wife because we are close (BFF's) friends at 5 weeks cos there was no point hiding it from her.. lol
This time around we will tell our parents around the same time again but we wont be telling anyother family until we hit the 12 week mark.
Depends on how comfy you feel. I was so excited and couldnt hold it! lol It took us 8 months to get our beautiful daughter.
Best of luck, wishing you a h&h pregnancy!

... I told my folks on Xmas Day by handing them an ultrasound pic of the bub & saying " Merry Xmas " to make it an extra special Xmas for them, my Mum was so beside herself with happiness & shock that she didn't know whether to laugh or cry ... as for Dad he couldn't stop grinning all day and already came up with a nickname that day for his grandchild
Our second, we didn't tell anyone as when we only found out I was already miscarrying... So after 2 miscarriages I was a but sceptical about this bub! We told only immediate Family and very close friends pretty much straight away as we thought we wouldn't be able to hide it from them anyway, we have waaay too much to do with them all the time and if anything did happen, we might've appreciated them being aware and having their understanding and support - We had our 6 week scan, all good, a 9 week scan came back all good too but still being a bit wary we waited until after our 13 week NT scan came back with gleaming results and then we told the world!
