I am contemplating this very issue at the moment. I'm 11 weeks and DH is on holls in a few weeks. We have been talking of going to Gold Coast for a week but I'm so scared to book it (which I need to do now to get reasonable rate). I have my first u/s scheduled for about 4 days before we would leave. I am hanging everything on that. With swine in planes/airports and the uncertaintity of being pregnant (I'll be about 13 weeks when we leave) I'm so unsure about whether to book or forego the holiday. Am I just being a worry wart ?? I haven't had any bleeding with this p/g but with my 1st I m/c at 8weeks (missed so found out by u/s which I think is why I'm hanging everything on my u/s) and #2 lots and lots of bleeding (which increased significantly after the u/s) but went on to have healthy baby no dramas after bleeding stopped. I guess with my history it's probably natural I would feel so uncertain but this pregnancy is the furthest I have ever got without bleeding or problems. I'm really not sure what to do. I feel like I'm spending my life around 'just in case' I miscarry or need a hospital !! Maybe I just need to relax.
