Thanks heaps sarah I didnt realise how much I wanted this until the thought of loosing it crossed my mind. It doesnt help when on neighbours and brothers and sisters people have been having missed miscarrages ahahahahaha I just turn them off. thanks agin I hope I feel yucky tomorrow too hehehe

I know I was a little suprised too. He seemed really off hand today and even though Ive been seeing him for 4 years I had to tell him my history yet again. He filled out my antenatal card with the wrong name and then didnt check all the details on it such as weight previous jistory etc. I was pretty shocked about the whole this too. The prob is we live in a small town and he has become so busy with lots of patients he starting to be too busy to know his patients.

Aw babe, I know exactly how you feel...I'd go through this every few weeks of my pregnancy. I'd be fine for the week after a scan and then the next week the doubts and fear would creep in.

I think you should have forehead slapped your GP - what a thing to say to a scared prg woman!!

Hang in there...I found that having an ob who knew my history and how anxious I was helped, he let me come in as often as I wanted to have a quick scan done and I took full advantage of it! I lived from scan to scan and needed to see that heartbeat to get through those 9 months.

**ETA, sorry, posted at the same time - seeing that you live in a small town will make frequent scans hard I guess? Are you going with midwifery care at the local hospital? I'm sure talking to your midwife or dr (I hope it's not the GP?!) about how your feeling and asking for more frequent appoints will help keep your mind at ease.

Hi everyone thanks heaps for your replies. Well I saw little norbit wriggling round on the screen and I was so so releived. Dr Sacks is just the best man he just laughed when I told him how scared Id been feeling after watching neighbours and that other show. But he said that this scan was an important one and he seems pretty confident that things should go well. I was really sad when we left because now I dont get to see him anymore. I wish I lived closer to him I would feel so comfortable with him being my OB rather than the one I have here. Little Norbit has little arms and legs and even has chubby cheeks like his mum hehehe. To celebrate I just decided instead of paying off the credit card I would buy hubby a PS3 for his Bday and I bought alot of comfy clothes. Thankyou so much for being there for me once again Im sure you will be there alot more in the future months to come.

Willow I- think Im going to through the GP not sure about the midwife thing I asked my gp what do I do now and he said well nothing just see me once a month????? I dont know how comfy I am with his flippent attitude. This baby took way too long get and I dont want a dim wit stuffing it up.
