Thank you. Or thank Bathsheba. Note how I'm all dressed up for work, and the calculator in hand... Now, should probably dress that smartly for school every day, and I can't yell at the kids yet for not having their caculators because I still can't find mine!

Well... Feeling like an awful mother right now. When I dropped Sam off this morning he was pretty upset. But I called at 9:30 and he was a lot happier. Then daycare rang me and my heart just sank. But I had to be on playground duty so I asked them to give him some panadol and I'd call them back again in half an hour. The panadol helped, so I managed to finish the work day. Now I've got a freshly washed and probably not at all sleepy all wrapped up and snuggling on my lap. He's had some nurofen, I've sucked all the snot I can out of his nose, given him a bath and a dose of brauers recovery tonic... So now we wait for daddy to get home and hope he feels a lot better very soon. It's like he's feverish, but the daycare centre took his temp and got 37. Even taking into account that Sam's like me and runs a little colder, it's just not all that high. Hopefully it's just teething combined with a revoltingly humid day and wanting mum. Or dad - he's starting to go to DH to fix ouchies and me for his snuggly night-time bottle.
