Green, go with your instinct. My paed insisted that I start Sam on solids at 4 months. I refused... He demanded that I get Sam eating meat at 6 months - but he refused. I didn't stress about it, I just followed what seemed to be the right thing by me and Sam. Sam eats meat now, but he wouldn't really have a bar of it in any way shape or form until he was about 9 months old. Just wanted to throw that in there to show that doctors aren't always the experts - you know your bub better than they do!

As for bills - I think it depends on the agreements between the hospital and the health fund. We have minimal cover and had every cent of 10 days each in hospital paid. I'm starting to think we really got lucky!

Anyway, got my work done - time to crash. Wish I had time to talk about the complete mummy rejection stunt that Sam pulled this morning... Going back to work is hard, and in some ways it doesn't get easier as you keep going either - but then my opinion is probably a little biased at the moment due to horrid work experiences at the moment. Nutty kids, end of term, and a deputy principal I could happily toss into the lake and never see again.
