lol bw that is so sweet of your dh but men are hopeless in taht way aren't they. everything is very black and white to them!

poppy i hope you had a lovely mum's day

green - it's so wonderful when they turn a corner. it's like all the sudden they work it out and then don't look back. i hope thtat's the case for you guys. and don't beat yourself up over using a dummy. i really gave myself a guilt trip about it, but if you use it correctly it's not an evil device. we only use ours after he's eaten to help with the little bit of reflux he has and wind he only occassionaly gets now. And i remove it as soon as he doesn't need it.

oh saph that sucks about having to get on meds to help heal. i hope you are feeling better and go Xavier! hopefully he won't need much and it's just a growth thing that only time will solve.

lenny - is your boy okay? what did the doc say and did dh make it home to look after ds2 before the docs? thinkikng of you.

Hi BG - how is E going?

hi kelly D too!

Marcelllus - isn't that always the way re dropping the day sleep the day you want a lay down! i think they have mummy radar where they do the opposite of what you want them to! it's a conspiracy, i tell you, conspiracy.

lol the granny smith comment! congratulations Smithy! i imagine it feels a little surreal to be a new mum and a grandmum all at once but i'm sure you wear your new title with aplomb so lots of baby cuddles round your place atm! and what great mates they are going to be!!! hope it's all going well and your daughter is coping ok with her new arrival.

afm - thanks all for the bday wishes. the day isn't till Wednesday but this year DH actuallly went out shopping for me rather than a last minute homemade card with a "this entitles you'' line. i'm so excited, i know he's stashed it in his computer room, i wanna sneak but i just love surprises lol

my subscription to this thread is doing all sorts of weird stuff, that's when it works, so i'm a bit behind - thought it'd been awfully quiet lol.

but the news round here is Ash slept from 9pm to 6.15am straight last night!!! I heard him once or twice stir but he must've decided that sleep was more important than food!!! omg! i slept from 10pm to 6am without getting out of bed or laying awake for hours!!!! And even better when he woke he was HAPPY! and smiling! We had a play and a feed and he was back to bed about 7.30am. Let's hope that lasts!!! lol. but i won't hold my breath. still one night respite has me buzzing!

that's it.
