Well no luck for us this cycle completely dissapointed and ****ed but oh well, annoyed we have to go back to a stim again and i really dont know what will happen from here we really want another baby but are tired oh so tired of IVF ruling our lives and taking away so many decisions for us.

Kelly - af will often return within a few months if not bf. But everyone's different.
Haven't had the chance to drop in for a few days but while Tara is sleeping thought I would see how everyone else is going, but it is very quiet in here at the moment.
Shannon: I haven't met you before but sorry to hear that this time didn't work for you, I can only assume that the same stresses apply even when we have miracle bubs already. I hope that you have success with your next cycle.
AFM: Things have really picked up here lately, Tara is now sleeping most of the night now (7-8 hours) which helps with my sanity. Although as she is sleeping so much at night she seems to want 3 feeds before midday each day and then is fine with 2 feeds for the rest of the day. It makes it a bit difficult to get out of the house if we have to do anything before lunchtime, so I have been trying to organise anything that has to be done to get done in the afternoon.
We have now hit the 8 week old mark and I'm waiting for my Wonder Week to kick in, I think it might be happening soon as she has been very unsettled during the day yesterday and today and is having trouble having day time naps ie: waking every 10-15 minutes, but she seems to have crashed now more from exhaustion than anything. Off to the MCHN on Wednesday for her weigh in which will be interesting as she has now gone up from approx 550mls per day feeds to now around 780mls which is a huge increase in just over a week. Then off to the Doctor on Friday for her immunisations and also Whooping Cough & Swine Flu injections for me & DH.
I hope everyone is doing well and has got all Xmas shopping finished, I still have a couple of things to get but all the "Santa" presents are done.

All is going ok here atm. I have a scan on Monday and am feeling rather nervous about it as I'll be going on my own as DH will be at work.
Shannon I'm sorry hun that you didn't get the results you were after this cycle I really do feel for you and hope you and your DH come up with an arrangement that suits you all

Congratulations on the arrival of Trent Miss Magpie. Those early days of feeding can be difficult. As BG said perhaps jump into a BF thread and see if some of the ladies there can help. I found that with expressing I never got a regular amount. In the early days I was predominately BF Jasmine, but I did top up with formula and expressed milk. What helped me was to remember that as long as she was getting a number of good wet nappies each day and was also putting on weight - then everything was going well. Jasmine was a windy baby also, and to be honest I tried most things and they worked for maybe a short time, but then they didn't. It is often something that I just think they have to go through and grow out of - Sorry! I know that it felt like Jasmine would never stop having colic, but she did. They just have such immature digestive systems that all the new sensations can be a little overwhelming for them. However, if you are worried about it check it out with your MCHN. Hi Marcellus, Lenny, BG, Sazzafrazz,egan and anyone else I have missed.
AFU - well we had a rotten night last might. We are currently in NZ visiting my mum which is great, but last night Jasmine was in bed with me and woke me up at 2:30am (NZ time - that is 12:30am AUS time) as she was crawling around the bed in her sleep and trying to pull herself up to standing also. I had to wake her up to get her to stop and then it took me an hour to resettle her - I placed her back into the cot and then at 5am NZ (3am AUS time) she started crawling around the cot - this time I woke to her standing holding onto the the rail and trying to climb out! Lucky I woke up as the side was down slightly, so she could have gone over the rail. Moral of this story is that the side now has to go up everytime she is in bed! As much as her sleep is still rotten, my little one is just amazing at the moment. She now has 3 teeth - the bottom middle 2 and a fang over to the left hand side up the top (out of order, but very cute). I think there are some more teeth on the move at the moment. She is crawling like a pro and pulling herself up on everything. Jasmine is almost able to clap and wave hello/good-bye. I really feel like my baby is no longer a baby, but this age is just so cool.
Kelly - WOW, Tara sleeping 7-8 hrs a night, thats GREAT! I may have to send Trent around to learn off her, lol Glad all is going well.
Janie - LOVE your story about Jasmine! She sounds very active and how exciting that she has 3 teeth

AFM, well Trent seems to be settling better these days. Have been using infacol regularly so that seems to have helped his wind pains. My breast milk doesnt seem to be satisying him as I now have to nearly top him up with formula after every feed. Im disappointed as I really wanted to breastfeed him as long as I could. I may now have to think of giving it away if I cant get more milk. I feel like I am wasting an hour of him feeding on my boobs only for him to then have anywhere from 50-100mls of formula. The formula packet says from 1-2 mths the volume for babies is 150mls so it doesnt sound like he is getting much from my boobs from that estimate. Its hard to know what to do. I want to persist with breastfeeding but if its not enough, then am I wasting my time. Dont know which way to go.
